in Washington D. C. but, the project is so damn good (in my humble opinion) that it is worth me mentioning it here just on the off-chance that one of you isn’t.

For the last four weeks and until the 13th May, the circular building is transformed into the first-ever  360-degree convex-screen cinema playing a breathtakingly composed film based around the classic song ‘I Only Have Eyes for You’ which is covered by the likes of Beck, James Murphy, Devendra Banhart, Mountains, CFCF, High Places, No Age and Lucky Dragons. Furthermore the song is de-constructed, separated into its elements, looped and pieced back together in sync with truly stunning visuals. Designed to urge the viewer to walk around the building, the entire piece is not visible from any one point ensuring that the manner in which you experience it is entirely subjective, displaying a further brilliance to an already magical concept.
