Manchester to London | The Gallery in Redchurch St., E2 | 10th-15th July 2012

We wrote earlier in the year about the new wave of artists emerging from Manchester who are hell bent on making a mark and have the talent to match their ambition, well here are some more to add to that class. Hot off the back of the Manchester School of Art Graduate Show which we looked at from a couple of perspectives, comes a pioneering follow-up show

from the Photography graduates.

Not content with the usual process of showing their work at the Manchester event, this collective have identified Shoreditch as the ideal location for an additional five day exhibition. The eclectic range of work displayed by this year’s alumni will mark the first time in the history of Manchester School of Art’s Photography course that an exhibition has been arranged in London. A vast collection from twenty five artists, the work spans through various themes which explore portraiture, still life, architecture, documentary and fashion.

The Gallery in Redchurch Stree

t is a fitting venue for the exhibition, a couple of minutes walk from Shoreditch High Street station and Brick Lane, in the heart of the creative hub in London’s East End. A preview night is arranged for Tuesday 1oth from 6-9pm and a number of the good ship KLLKT will be checking it out, we recommend that you join us. Otherwise, the gallery will be open from 10-6pm apart from the closing day, Sunday 15th when the Sabbath-friendly hours of 11-4pm apply.
