The sound in the background, the rumble, the whir, that unrelenting hum is the landing of Bloc festival. Like a bitter tundra, the intensity of this music will not be ceding any time soon. We are preparing to enter the void and give you full-coverage of this year’s Bloc, which is shaping up to be a truly incredible music event. The festival has nestled itself in East London, nicely within KLLKT’s grasp, so we will be making a hop, skip, jump across, and transmitting everything we find. For now though, have rustled up a musical amuse bouche. Salivate over the wonders of Actress, Clark, Amon Tobin, Battles, Flying Lotus, and Squarepusher, all on the same menu. We are a little worried that our minds might implode, like that time we saw Aphex Twin.
