Kollektivnye Playlist #10

So, its been a while hasn’t it folks? All the fervour that builds to a mighty crescendo in a new year along with the fuss that follows it  (not to mention the formulation of numerous exciting plans and schemes) have meant that we have missed a month in our playlist series and return with January’s offering. Number 10, may well have taken its time in coming to be, but as it pains us to say it, from time to time the heavily copyrighted (spare us) adage ‘good things come to those that wait’ may well be true in this case. Whilst our latest offering to some may verge on the slightly risky side of being disjointed, we feel that there is certainly time in this world for taking the percussive opening exchange of The Pixes’ ‘La La Love You’ and following it with Serge Gainsbourg’s incendiary yet similarly driven ‘Requiem Pour Un Con’. Throw in a disco classic, The Black Keys, Boards of Canada and the quite incredible Nicolas Jaar and you find yourself with an hour that could quite easily be spent listening to something far less entertaining.
