KLLKT Issue #1 launches in Manchester

Two weeks today on Tuesday August 14th we invite you to come and celebrate the release of our first piece of printed matter at Manchester’s COMMON

. KLLKT Issue #1 is the result of much um-ing and ah-ing, cost circumventing and deliberation. A release in collaboration with our friends at Baptists & Bootleggers , sees a limited selection of FREE ‘zines each of which are double side hand screenprinted.

Available in a choice of three colours (while stocks last) the release, designed by Christopher Anderson

features illustrations by DR. ME  and Rob Birchall  along with interviews with Kilimanjaro / Modern Matter  founder Olu Michael Odukoya, M O N E Y  and Dafydd Jones. Add to that a few more features that were keeping under wraps and you have yourself an interesting little read and one that marks our first but by no means last foray into the world of print media.

From 6pm til Midnight we will be laying on a shindig at COMMON with a limited amount of free drinks for the early birds and a healthy stack of zines. DJ sets from DR. ME, M O N E Y and the mercurial Patrick Ryder (the man behind our first ever mixtape

) will provide the necessary toe-tapping, hip-shaking entertainment so come on down, see what we have made and help us wear Tuesday like a glove.
